    Breakfast is continental & very nice. There is a good hairdryer in the bathroom & shampoo & soap. They give you clean towels every day. No one at the hotel speaks English but it’s amazing how you can communicate.

    First of all I loved my stay at Dunas hotel. Nice&quiet location... read more and yet close to all the bustling night life. Nice, clean and tidy rooms. And the front "yard" with benches, were you can sit and enjoy the cooling afternoon. :-)

    But here is why I must write this post: I went for a walk out of the San Pedro city center in the afternoon and managed to get tangeld up in a rather dramatic and unusual way. I was in REAL danger and got myself in BIG trouble. Without knowing any Spanish and with a acute need for help, I could not have had more luck with the staff at the hotel. As soon as they learned about my trouble from my friend who was in the hotel at the time, they immediately went out of their way to help me. The hotel owner sent a car with my friend to find me, argued me out of the situation and helped me in all possible ways. Afterwards they made sure I got all the necessary medical treatment I needed. So friendly, so forthcoming, so warm and so caring! Even a mum could not have done more for her son!

    Five star for the facilities and SIX stars for service and kindness!

El desayuno chiquitito pero muy completo, tampoco se necesita más. Nos devolvimos a buscar nuestras cosas unas horas antes de que el transfer para el aeropuerto nos pasara a buscar y la recepcionista fue demasiado simpática, nos ofreció juguito y conversamos largo rato... MIL GRACIAS!!!

  • star rating  Spent 3 nights at this hotel with my wife met by Yesenia at reception with a lovely warm welcome, taken to our room which was perfect for our needs comfortable... read more bed really good shower we were out and about every day came back to a freshly cleaned room beds made and clean towels .Hotel in a quiet area still only a 10 minuet stroll to town centre , never been to a place like it buzzing lovely atmosphere feels very safe no hard selling was approached many times but a simple no thanks was accepted but they still wished us a good day . Staff at hotel were very helpful didn’t speak very much English (not surprising really as we are in Chile) but one way or another we did manage to communicate surly it’s all part of the fun .I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Dunas we had a great experience

  • star rating  Evelyn and Victor are excellent hosts. Check in was quick, room was ready and clean. And to our surprise we had enough number of essentials for the five of us.... read more Most places we had to ask for the 5th towel as it was assumed we were only four people. Kids had good space outside to run around without fear of cars or running into people. All the staff were friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast was a good spread. They also accommodated our early morning trip to the Geyser by giving us take away breakfast. Plenty of parking if you are planning to rent a car.
